St Peter's Trust

In 2008, Liss IPC bought the original parish church of Liss (St Peters) from the Church of England.  It is a lovely, historic building, with the oldest parts dating back to the 13th Century - and is Grade II* listed.  A separate charity - St Peter's IPC Trust Corporation - was set up to hold, maintain and develop the building.

Since then, a huge amount of restoration and improvement work has been accomplished including extensive work on the roof, installation of a disabled toilet, improved electrics and lighting, and general maintenance.  This was partly funded through a generous grant from English Heritage.

There is still much more to do.  If you would like to know more about the work of the Trust or plans for the future, please contact the church office and we will provide the appropriate details.
